To provide technical application support, training, and product overview for all FTI products according to the demand of Sales and Customer inquiries, both internally and externally.

Inside Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Provides Application/Product/Compliance/Quote support for customer service, inside sales, outside sales, distributors and Key Accounts
  • Acts as the liaison for Differential Pressure Flow, Metering products and Systems.
  • Produces and provides technical information to support formal written quotes and special projects for Flow products.
  • Creates tools to help inside sales access product information.
  • Provides support to the Sales department for refresher training and education to the existing personnel in order for them to successfully achieve true customer satisfaction
  • Supports the engineering team in maintaining and creating information for the submittals (labor cost)
  • Strives for continuous personal development of product & application knowledge, business operations, & industry standards
  • Supports Bill of Materials (BOM) activities involving purchased finished goods.
  • Provides training for new and existing personnel, using effective tools such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, and meetings.
  • Supports the sales department to develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Preferred)
  • Working knowledge on all products sold by FTI and their applications.
  • Ability to provide consultation and advice to Others –
  • Proven experience providing guidance and expert advice to sales or other groups on product-related topics
  • Excellent Communication Skills, verbal and written, telephone and computer skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Commitment to Professionalism, Operational Excellence, Quality, Integrity, Creativity and Ethics required
  • Experience using Auto-Cad
