Responsible for providing a broad range of HR-related services on a professional and confidential level while working closely with the HR team and multiple levels of management. Provide practical and proactive HR solutions across a range of HR functions including, but not limited to: talent management, engagement and culture, diversity, compliance, employee relations, training and development, new hire onboarding and orientation, policy implementation and enforcement, leave and ADA administration, affirmative action and employment law compliance. 

Sr HR Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains positive relationships with business area management in order to positively serve as a business partner to consult and coach on HR-related matters
• Actively engage in empowering the growth and development of all employees
• Responds to employee relations matters such as employee complaints and other employment investigations
• Drives employee engagement, retention activities, & recognition initiatives and programs
• Identifies training and development needs and partners with Organizational Development to provide appropriate training solutions and support in the career-pathing and succession planning programs
• Facilitates periodic training to the Company’s workforce, including but not limited to new policy/procedure implementation, compliance, etc.
• In collaboration with other members of the HR team, execute HR initiatives such as annual performance reviews, training initiatives, new rollouts and implementation, workers compensation activities, leave of absence management and ADA accommodation requests
• Processes HR employment administration and maintain HR and employee records; ensure compliance with record retention requirements
• Works with managers to perform job analyses; ensure up-to-date and accurate job descriptions for all positions under area of responsibility
• Plans and executes company events for employees
• Conducts new hire orientation and coordinates onboarding of new employees
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment efforts
• Keep current on federal and state laws and industry trends to ensure HR best practices are fulfilled and HR policies and processes comply with laws and regulations
• Maintains and administers HR-related standard operating practices and policies
• Maintains and protect confidential data with great discretion, judgement, and professionalism

Requirements

• A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR Generalist/Management experience in a broad range of HR disciplines such as recruiting, employee relations, performance management, training, and HR/Benefits administration and compliance
• BA/BS (or equivalent) in HR Management, Business, Organizational Psychology or other related field 
• HR certification strongly preferred (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)
• Demonstrated proficiency partnering with and influencing leaders at all levels
• Proficient in HR consulting and coaching and ability to provide expertise in technical and regulatory aspects of employment including hiring, termination , performance management, rewards, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish trust and provide counsel in a thoughtful, sensitive, and timely manner
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality, provide discretion with sensitive information, and use sound judgement
• Proficient in MS Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR Best Practices 
• Excellent planning and time management skills
