The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, qualifying and securing top talent to join the WIKA USA team in manufacturing, sales and general office roles. This position is also responsible for assisting in monitoring and following guidelines and benchmarks set out by the Company’s Affirmative Action Plan.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and manages position requisitions in the company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and troubleshoots any errors in the requisition process
• Posts opens positions with internal and external job boards, social networks, local organizations and other platforms as needed
• Develops solid relationships with hiring managers and develops a keen understanding of position requirements
• Oversees the full cycle recruiting process, including candidate generation, interview and offer
• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, internet sites, and other outlets
• Sources candidates by researching national markets and connecting with viable candidates. Utilizes multiple recruiting resources to source passive candidates
• Represents the organization by promoting our opportunities and culture at career fairs and other company sponsored events
• Partners with external recruiting sources and staffing agencies to support the recruitment of open positions
• Qualifies candidates by understanding job descriptions and minimum requirements
• Identifies qualified applicants by interviewing and analyzing responses via phone
• Arranges interviews by coordinating schedules with hiring managers
• Extends offers and prepares the employee onboarding process
• Maintains metrics for workforce planning and AAP requirements
• Ensures legal compliance on hiring practices by understanding current legislation, recommending updates to procedures and participating in recruiting Best Practice Efforts
• Performs ancillary duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 – 3 years of experience as a full life-cycle recruiter in a manufacturing environment. Experience working for a Federal Contractor preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System. Experience in SharePoint, Cornerstone, ADP and Kronos experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite and Social Media skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to self-motivate
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, all-hands-on-deck environment
